Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Dermenda, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Not medical advice

Dermenda is a wellness and tracking tool, not a medical device and not a substitute for professional dermatological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions. Do not delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read in the app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dermenda. If you are under 18, you should use the app only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Dermenda offers free and paid Pro plans. Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
• Prices are shown at checkout and may change with reasonable notice.
• You may cancel anytime from Settings or through your app store/subscription provider. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support with billing disputes.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of your photos, logs, and notes. By uploading them, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze them solely to provide and improve the app. You may export or delete your content at any time.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use Dermenda to upload illegal content, harass others, reverse-engineer the app, overload our systems, or attempt to access data that is not yours. Violations may result in suspension or deletion of your account.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for our users or operations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dermenda and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any health decisions made based on insights or reports. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you did not pay.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Dermenda operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the app or sent by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
